On 28 May 2020, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) has published Resolution RDC No. 391 of 2020 postponing the enforcement of Resolution RDC No. 326 of 2019, including Technical Regulation on Positive List of Additives for Food Contact Plastic Material and Polymer Coating and amendments to relevant regulations due to the international public health emergency caused by COVID-19. Plastic food contact materials shall comply with the provisions in Resolution RDC No. 326 of 2019 by 3 June 2021.
